Walker Hayes was born on the 27th of December 1979 in Mobile, Alabama, United States. He grew up with his father Charles Hayes who is in the real estate business. Walker got married to Laney Beville who went on to build a family with and have 7 kids.

They moved to Nashville in 2005, where Walker aspired on entering the industry as a Country singer. He began his career by getting a job where he wrote songs for a publishing company in Nashville.

After making this move, he proceeded to sign a contract with Mercury Records Nashville which did not turn out to be a prosperous aspect of his career because he got shortly dropped. Capitol Records Nashville was where he went afterward, his first single got released in the year 2010 titled “Parts”.
